Q:  I know I want a puff quilt bedding set, but I wanted to wait until I know the sex of my baby or make final decisions on my color scheme!  Can I still place an order in time?
A:   You don’t have to know any of that stuff to reserve your place for a custom order!  You just need to decide which items you would like and and pay for it up front.  Additional items can be added later also, I’ll just send you a separate invoice.

Q:  I want a bedding set but can’t pay for it all at once.  Do you do payment plans?
A:  I do payment plans for custom orders.  You need to pay 50% up front, and the rest can be divided into 3-5 payments, depending on time frame and cost.

Stay Tuned For…
Starting sometime later this year, I will be periodically listing baby bedding available for purchase.  It will not be custom, but my own designs pre-made.  That means when you purchase the item(s), you will receive them in about a week.  I will be selling one design at a time in limited quantity.  Once it’s gone, it’s gone. I will try and tell you what bedding will be in the shop in advance so you can be prepared.

You can purchase entire bedding sets (quilt, bumper, and skirt) or separate pieces.  Payment plans do not apply to pre-made purchases, and all sales are final.

I’m not going to list anymore on Etsy, but most likely be using my Big Cartel shop again.  I will announce everything here in my blog so be sure to check back frequently for updates and new items!

Puff Quilt Tutorial
I used to have a puff quilt tutorial available for free on my blog.  As time went by and I made many more quilts, I realized that I needed to really make a much better tutorial.  If you want to learn to make a puff quilt, you may purchase my brand-new comprehensive tutorial in my shop.

    Heidi,
I downloaded your tutorial to make a quilt. It is 36×36. I am wondering if you have measurements for a larger quilt – maybe 45×45. I am stuck on the border and binding. If you haven't made one this size, no biggie, I'll try to figure it out!
    Thanks,

I am really hoping you will reproduce the Ziggy quilt, perhaps in a set too (is that the right name? the one with the zig zags of polks dots). I have been secretly saving for a while and can't wait to see your pre made options. I will be ready to jump when they come out! You do beautiful work!

Your link for puff quilt tutorial did not work.

  4. Hi! I offered to finish several puff quilts for a man whose mother made them. She is in hospice care and isn’t expected to last long, and he donated all of her fabrics and supplies to our schools, so I told him I would do this for him in return, so he and his siblings can have finished quilts.

Anyhow- I’m not a quilter. I thought it was going to be as simple as putting a backing fabric on there, stitching, turning and then topstitching all the way around the edges, then a few tacks at regular intervals to hold everything together. Do you think this would work? I’m really not interested in doing full-scale binding; there are about 5 quilts and that’s more than I can take on. I appreciate your suggestions.

Yes, I think you can do it that way. Good luck!
