Kids Craft: Filling Plastic Ornaments
Hello! I’m Kristen and I blog at Capturing Joy with Kristen Duke. I like to share everything from photography tips, recipes, and home projects. I also have a little book called Say NO to Auto to helps moms take better pictures of their kids.
Today, I’m sharing a fun little Kids Christmas Craft about filling plastic ornaments. I found these clear plastic ornaments at a few different craft stores, and was SO excited! Am I the only one that cringes when glass ornaments and kids get near each other? I even remember it as a holiday class activity for my son in first grade–yikes!! There are so many fun things you can put inside of these ornaments, you can set up a kids table, and any supplies you have, and go to town! My daughter and I chose silver bells and Christmas colored pom poms. We also had lots of ribbon on hand for hanging.
Simple and fun! I saw the plastic ornaments at Michael’s and Joann’s, but they may also be at Hobby Lobby.
I’d love if you’d come on over to say hello on my blog, you can also find me on Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter.
Such a fun and easy Christmas craft to do with your kids! I love it. Please go visit Kristen’s blog for fun crafts and great photography tips! ~Heidi
love your ideas. My granddaughters (7 and 2) are going to make them for their Godmother. She lives n Houston and their Christmas decorations were damaged in the recent flooding (Sept 2017) and had to all be thrown out. I am going to help my grands to make some new ornaments for them. Your ideas are right at age level. Thanks
