Sharing is caring!
Before I announce the finalists, I want to specially thank Natasha, from Skye Reve Fabrics, for sponsoring this contest. I’m pretty sure that I wouldn’t have gotten nearly as many entries to this contest without her prizes! I hope that you have all visited her shop and maybe purchased some of her beautiful fabrics. I know I have and she has a beautiful selection and has always been so helpful.
I had a blast sorting through the entries! It was hard to narrow it down, and honestly I was just blown away by the talent of y’all! And it was so fun to see the entries from you who said it was your first try! (And fun to see that some of you used my templates!)
So, enough talk. Let’s get to the finalists! I chose them based on originality, design, quality of work, and skill level. So here are the top 10, in no particular order:
|
#1 Tea Party Apron |
|
#2 Ballerina Dress |
|
#3 Graphic Designer Onesie |
|
#4 Happy Birthday Bunting |
|
#5 Airplane Rag Quilt |
|
#6 Santa Clause Stocking |
|
#7 Angel Wall Hanging |
|
#8 Quiet Book Pages |
|
#9 Monkey Applique |
|
#10 Mermaid Overalls |
Now here’s what YOU ALL are to do:
Vote in the Poll at the top of the right hand column (when it’s posted…soon!) When the poll closes, we will know who the winner is!
(PS…you might want to publicize this poll to all your friends if you are one of the finalists…get everyone to vote for YOUR entry!)
Thanks for including me! I hope everyone will check out the flikr group to see the other pages of the quiet book if they're interested.
Love the CMYK onesie! Appliques are just plain rad. 🙂
Thanks so much for picking my overalls for the Top Ten Appliques!
There are two more pictures of the Mermaid overalls on the Flickr page too, so be sure to check them out!
I almost fell out of my seat when I saw I was one of the finalists!
Thank you for including my apron along with these other talented entries! 🙂
Also a huge thanks to Honeybear Lane and Skye Reeve fabrics for the chance to win some truly awesome prizes.
Those mermaid overalls are to die for! And I mean to die for!
I believe the proper terminology is "shut up book."
Thank you for this great opportunity! I was very honored to place 2nd!
