BORED. And a discount!
I have nothing to do.
For the last couple of weeks, every spare second I had was occupied by packing or getting caught up on housework, orders, blog stuff, etc. And now I’m kinda stuck. I can’t keep packing because we ran out of boxes and I can’t currently run out for more. I am all caught up on orders and most of my blog stuff. There is always cleaning to do I guess.
But what I want to do is CREATE something. I want to get out my fabric and sewing machine and work on a project. Or paint some furniture. But that stuff is all packed too.
Just wanted to explain why my blog is kind of devoid of original projects lately. Except for recipes because I seem to have those aplenty.
I can’t tell you how excited and anxious I am to get the heckoutta this place. It feels even more confining than before and it doesn’t help that it’s over 100 degrees outside every day. One more week. I hope.
But I’m proud of my hubby who has worked very hard for the last four years to earn his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree. He’s graduating on Friday!
Let’s stir up the pot today a bit: Use the code BORED to get 20% off patterns today!
This is a totally random question, but you’re one of three Mormon bloggers I follow who’s husbands are becoming dentists. Growing up, my dentist was Mormon as was my Orthodontist. Is it just a coincidence, or is this a profession that Mormons get into? Probably a really stupid question but it’s making me curious now haha!
Hahaha! I think that’s true because Utah, the state that is predominantly LDS (Mormon), is also saturated with dentists. We are really trying to figure out a way to make it as a dentist there but it’s very competitive. I think the reason so many LDS people are attracted to it as a profession is because it’s very family friendly. You can work good hours and make good money. Just out of curiosity, who are the other bloggers you follow with dentists for husbands?
Congrats to your hubby–and to you too of course–on graduating!
Will you get to be close to your brother as well?
Oh how special. Congrats to your husband and of course you too since you held down the home fires while he was studing. Will your move get you closer to your family?
Congrats to the new dentist!! And to you, hanging in there as you are.
