Commit to Bettering Yourself and Your World

I am really trying harder this year to embrace Healthy Living. Not just to be ‘on a diet’ or to work out for weight loss, but really I’d like to be healthy! There is so much disease present in the lives of my loved ones lately that it really opened up my eyes to the benefits of taking care of myself.
I love eating food that’s fresh from the garden because I know that it has NO preservatives or anything on it but what it grew with. There’s so much garbage that companies put in food and products these days…it seems unnecessary.

I really do like the idea of trying to do one of these things every day…they are all important. It’s a good way to remind yourself of trying to live better than you did the day before, trying to reach for something beyond your own selfish desires. It’s very easy to get self-involved because let’s face it, as a mother of three sometimes it’s hard to just stay afloat. But what is the most important in the life is making GOOD choices that can help others ultimately (even if that includes living a healthy lifestyle. Because then you are setting a good example for your family to do the same.)
