Getting in Shape with pv Body
I haven’t written a weigh-in post in months! Probably because it’s been insanely busy with the holidays and birthdays coming and going. Or maybe I’m using that as an excuse for the fact that getting in shape has been definitely put on the back burner and trying to stick to a diet is virtually impossible during the holidays. My goal was to hit my pre-pregnancy weight by my baby’s first birthday. Well it’s kinda sucky that my baby turned one two days after Thanksgiving!! So I didn’t hit that goal. But I’m really happy to say that I DID hit the goal only a week later!
Starting weight, Jan 2012: 156 lbs.
Current Weight, Dec 2012: 133 lbs.
Total Weight Lost: 23 lbs.
So now it’s time to revise my goals. I still want to continue to lose a little more weight, but if I don’t, I’ll be okay with it. I’m at a healthy weight and I feel good about myself. What I’m going to work on for 2013 is to get in shape and tone my muscles–or what’s left of them. I lost most of the weight last year by watching what I eat, which I think is probably 80% of the battle. But I’m not strong or in shape, which I would really like to improve. I want to get back in the frame of mind of living a healthy lifestyle so I can inspire my children and husband to do the same.
I was excited to learn about this company called pv.body that helps you decide on the right workout wear for your personal workout preferences.
This company is perfect for all of you exercise junkies! They sent me my own workout outfit to try out. Let me tell you, I have NEVER owned workout wear this nice. Workout wear is something I’ve never really spent money on, but it is SO nice to have high quality and appropriate clothing to wear while working out. This particular outfit I would probably wear for working out on the Bowflex or doing yoga. It’s pretty form fitting which is GREAT while doing yoga so clothes don’t make you sweat more or chafe or whatever. They are SUPER comfortable also. And the pants have this cool hidden pocket in the waistband for you to put your phone or ipod or whatever.
Right now you can get a pv.body discount! Signing up right now for pvBody gets you a $15 Lululemon gift card, plus 25% off your first month subscription. This would be a great Christmas gift for anyone who is a workout buff or maybe needs some encouragement (but please be tactful! 🙂
Easy peasy lemon squeezy: pvBody is easy. Take the quiz, sign up and boom, an awesome package arrives at your door each month with a hand picked outfit for you! Every outfit is styled just for you by a pvBody expert. Each month you receive an outfit worth $150, but you pay just $49.95.
