Moving to a new place, especially a new state, is very complicated when you have kids. There are so many things to worry about: which schools to enroll them in, which doctors to visit, where to sign them up for extra curriculars, etc. It takes awhile to figure it all out. But I think the one thing that is extremely important and often the most neglected is Babysitters! You move to a new place and you don’t know or trust anyone to watch your most valued possession–your children! Which means that you are either staying in every night and slowly going mad or taking them with you and quickly going mad. As much as we love our children, it is so important for husband and wife to get out and have date night. Or what about those times when you have a dentist appointment or need to get a haircut? The fact is this: you HAVE to have a babysitter you can trust. And it is SO hard when you move to a new place and don’t know anyone.
That’s why I’m excited to tell you about this new app called Sitterati. It hasn’t launched quite yet so I’ll give you the full details later on.
