Vera Bradley Holiday Bag Giveaway! #vbwishlist

Guess what. In almost eight years of marriage to my husband, we have never had a weekend getaway together. {Gasp!} There was always some excuse to not do it, but this year for my husband’s birthday I asked my Mom to watch our kids overnight and I am kidnapping him to Park City. I’m super excited for 24 hours away from my lovable monsters. And what makes this little weekend getaway even more perfect? I get to take my brand new Vera Bradley bags on their Maiden Voyage! I love Vera Bradley bags so I was super excited to review their new winter line of bags: Canterberry Magenta or Venetian Paisley. The ones I received are the Canterberry Magenta. Aren’t they beautiful?
And the big bag is SOOOO big. It holds as much stuff as a medium-size suitcase but it’s way cuter than any suitcase. And it’s super comfy to carry around. Look how much stuff it holds: 
Along with the huge bag, I got the little travel hanging bag and a cosmetics bag. These are so high quality–full of pockets everywhere and each one lined with plastic so the fabric doesn’t get ruined by moisture from your bathroom products. It held all my normal stuff and I’m sure it could hold my husband’s too (although he likes to have his stuff separate.)
Then I put both small bags into my big bag along with a day/night’s worth of clothes and some shoes. And there was STILL tons of space left for more stuff. I could probably hide a dead body in there (and get it all bloody? No way.) Ha! 
Vera Bradley bags are so worth it. They are HUGE but don’t really look huge and are made of such beautiful quilted fabrics, truly one of a kind. Also very high quality with so many pockets and stuff. Want to see more of my Vera Bradley Favorites? Check out my Holiday Colors Pinterest Board!

Gosh, I like both styles!!!! I just asked for a new Vera Bradley cosmetic bag for Christmas. I have never been willing to spend the money on myself. Fingers crossed for a great present this year.

Tough choice, both are beautiful. But if forced to choose I’d have to lean a little more towards the Canterberry Magenta.

I have a set of VB bags (and I use them EVERY. Single. Day, Purse, wallets, a messenger bag that doubles as a tote/diaper bag/laptop bag, and a huge duffel that I use to travel. I can fit all my clothes for a full WEEK in that bag… and the roll up case for cosmetics/jewelry/etc. that hangs on the wall. my mom really loved me that birthday. hehe.)
anyway. mine is pink, so I think if I got another set, I would like the black…. so that I have options… or maybe just so my husband doesn’t look so girly toting a buncha pink bags. LOL!
