20 Ways to Use Strawberries
Strawberries–such a summery food. The trouble is, I’m not great at coming up with enough uses for strawberries before they go bad. Sure, I could pull out my super domestic side and make a bunch of strawberry jam (I really should learn to do that someday) but why not try one of these awesome recipes instead?
Try one, try them all. Myself, I’m partial to the desserts, but that’s because I’m a sugar addict. But even if you’re not looking to make a sugary strawberry dessert, there are some other kinds of options in this list that might surprise you! What’s your favorite strawberry dish?

One of the easiest ways to preserve strawberries is jam. it is so simple to hull them, remove any brown spots, mash, measure, add sugar, heat, add pectin and pour into sterilized jars.
counting hunting out the jars and sterilizing them and finding the pectin in the cupboard (longer if you have to go buy it) it takes 2 hours or less. truely easy. don’t let it scare you.. I learned to make peach jam as a teen with my mom, but found strawberry much easier. no peeling, no chopping. easy. use for cake filling, to top a muffin, heat it to make a glaze, make thumbprint cookies, or add a bit to a simple vinaigrette and you have a summery dressing.Or blend with cream cheese for sandwiches, scones or fruit dip or glaze.
